My next year at South Pole is in preparation :) more soon

Welcome to my South Pole page.
This page will share some moments of the life here at the geographical South Pole.

So far I spent six years here at the Pole - at the moment I'm enjoying more moderate temperatures somewhere else on the planet. :)
My last experiment - QUaD a Cosmic Microwave Background telescope, is finished, but I hope to be back in the near future for a new experiment.

I won't be back for winter 2009, but I got a good reason for it, ESA - the European Space Agency is looking for 4 new astronauts :)
